This, combined with our powered cable reel, depth sensor, cable encoder, video overlay system and a GPS or DGPS provides an unbeatable package. The overlay unit, knowing the amount of cable paid out, the depth of the unit, geodetic location and heading, can automatically calculate the position of the tow sled. As you change depth, speed, and bring the cable in and out, the overlay seamlessly does the conversions. Time, date, heading, depth, cable, latitude and longitude are displayed directly on the video image.
