On March 10 and 11, 2016, we proceeded a training and acceptance test of ShipSim3 at a navigation instrument factory in China.
    ShipSim3 is the first and unique simulator that can support ISO 11674/16329 and IEC 62065 international standard certification in the world. It has already been widely recognized by many foreign well-known classification society. At present, more than 70% autopilot manufacturers in the world use ShipSim3 to evaluate their autopilots whether meet the ISO and IEC requirements. ShipSim3 has won high popularity because of its reliability and convenience.

    This training and acceptance test include: use a variety of communication mode for data interaction, such as to send a rudder angle command, check the rotary speed, heading, position and speed of the ship, then output all the data to external ECDIS.
 
    Our manager Alan Zhang doctor gave a detailed explanation of the job that ShipSim3 undertaken in customer’s autopilot certification project, followed the communication mode customer prefer. Alan also discussed the difference certification items that exist between domestic and foreign classification society with customer.
 
    In fact, lots of famous classification society in the world put IEC 62065 track control as their compulsory certification item, however, domestic classification society only proceed ISO 11674/16329 certification, so ShipSim3 has a widely application prospect. Many mode can choose, it can easily meet customer’s requirements, more importantly it can reduce cost of autopilot certification, we believe ShipSim3 will be used by more and more clients.
