Demonstration and seminar of Shark Marine’s ROV held in Qingdao

On April 24, 2014, Bejing OceanEco Technology organized a special ROV demonstration and seminar of Shark Marine’s Sea-Wolf 3 and Stealth 2 in Qindao.  In order to expand the influence, we specially invited the clients from State Oceanic Administration system, marine related colleges and universities, China Ship Building system, Hydrology and water conservancy system etc. The purpose of this activity we expect to enhance clients’ intuitive feelings and understanding of the whole system of ROV which including framework, dimension and all the components’ characteristics especially the latest upgrade console and Divelog software. In the seminar, some of old user shared the experience in using ROV and the potential clients gave their questions on how to get good use of the ROV in their working.
Sea-Wolf 3 ROV is the upgrade model of Sea-Wolf 2, we have delivered three of this series ROV in China so far. Sea-Wolf 3 ROV configured with professional Pan&Tilt, it can accommodate payloads up to 10kg, easy to carry different equipments and rotate with ±90 degrees tilt, 360 degrees pan，Sea-Wolf 3 weights approximately 200kg (including 5 function hydraulic manipulator) in air, total dimension is about 120cm(length)×90cm(width)×70cm(height), Sea-Wolf 3 ROV use fiber optic umbilical providing high bandwidth, noise-free data transfer and the ability to run high quality HD cameras, it also equipped with 1Hp electric winch.
Divelog software is developed by Shark Marine Technology and it’s the heart of Shark Marine’s Towed system, Navigator, ROV and unmanned ship products. Divelog software help non-professional ROV user efficiently solved the big problem that how to make ROV work effectively and efficiently accomplish specific engineering tasks. The user can make mission planning and targets marking based on the map through the strong project managing capacity of Divelog. Moreover, Divelog can organize all the recorded sensor data into a project folder for unified management and data integration, it can input history data and replay all the project data, Divelog can also integrate target data and related video and sonar data together then generate detailed report file in web page format, all these excellent features will be reflected in underwater engineering work.
