AUV Simulator Acceptance and Training

From May.25 to May.26, 2017, our engineer performed a training and acceptance test of AUV SIM3 at an institute in Guangdong province.

       The AUV Simulator, AUV Sim3,
designed by H-Scientific, is developed to aid the process of designing and optimising the control system for autonomous or remotely operated submarines. A range of autopilots algorithms has been developed for various operational tasks, including heading, track (waypoint) following, height / depth control, attitude (roll and pitch) control. Using the simulator, these autopilots can be optimised for a particular vehicle, without leaving the laboratory.

This time, the training and acceptance test include: Control the AUV Sim3 with remotely control software (RCW) through SPECTRE control unit; The vehicle carried AUV Sim3 completes auto-heading, auto-speed control, auto-height / depth control, auto attitude (roll and pitch) control, track following and the like; We also create new AUV model in AUV Sim3, configure the quantity of thruster and ascertain installation position, then use the RCW to control it.
